Garrick has over 20 years experience in Bio-security. Coming from a rural farming background, he studied Ecology at Victoria University in Wellington.

He has worked as a DOC ranger, MAF biosecurity inspector and has just finished ten years with Auckland Council Bio-security, specialising in plant and animal pest control.

He is currently living on and working a lifestyle block in Whakamarama, Bay of Plenty.
